Celebrate Winter at The Leavenworth Ice Fest
Clipper Excursions and Gray Line of Seattle have joined together to create a memorable winter day in “Bavaria” on January 14, 2006.

A 2004 graduate of the University of Florida and former Princess Cruises and Tours employee, Kathryn joined the Clipper team last February as a reservation agent. With this move into our marketing and sales department, Kathryn becomes one of three Account Managers working to increase sales of not only our ferry service between Seattle and Victoria, BC, but the complete range of products and services that fall under the Clipper Navigation, Inc. umbrella.

Leavenworth Town Lighting Festival
Be a part of Leavenworth’s Annual Town and Tree Lighting Festival on Saturday, December 3 rd, 10 th, or 17 th. Each year, visitors to this Bavarian Village eagerly await the magical transformation from darkness to a magical wonderland of lights.

Flu Shots in Canada
Effective immediately, Victoria Clipper will have flu shots available for their passengers. This service costs $105 per adult and $35 for children under 12 and includes round-trip transportation to Victoria and a flu vaccine. The vaccine will be given to Victoria Clipper passengers at the Belleville Terminal once the passenger has been cleared by Canada Border Services Agency. The passengers are then free to enjoy Victoria.
This program will be available Monday through Thursday, October 31 through November 17, 2005. Flu shots will also be available for $35 for those passengers who have already booked their transportation or overnight package. The Victoria Clipper departs Seattle at 8 a.m. each day and departs from Victoria at 5 p.m. each evening.

Leavenworth Oktoberfest
Beer, Bratwurst and Polka enthusiasts will enjoy a day trip to Leavenworth’s Annual Oktoberfest. Clipper Vacations and Pacific Northwest Coaches have joined together to create a memorable day in “Bavaria”.
The fall foliage will provide a breathtaking trip through the mountain passes. Also en route, a breakfast basket will be provided, and passengers can bring their own snacks. Whales, Whales, Everywhere
Clipper Navigation is pleased to announce that Orca Whales have been sighted on every trip since the summer season began June 1.
The Victoria Clipper III departs from Seattle every morning at 7:45 am and the Orca Song departs the Everett Village Marina every morning at 8:00 am. Both vessels head north through Deception Pass, then on to the prime whale sighting areas. Through a membership in the Whale Watch Association, the captains are able to speak with other vessel captains to identify the specific locations of the whale pods for that date.
A trained naturalist provides a full narration, and identifies and educates the passengers about the whales and other wildlife and points of interest. It is recommended that passengers bring cameras and binoculars, but some binoculars are available for rent on board.
The adult summer fare for the whale watching trip, from either Seattle or Everett, is $80. Children under 12 ride free. Fares reduce to $50 on September 6. Overnight packages are available. Victoria and Butchart Gardens
Clipper Vacations is offering a special day trip to Victoria, including round trip fare on the Victoria Clipper, and a Butchart Gardens and City tour. This all inclusive day sells for $145 for adults and $69 for children under 12, and is available Monday through Friday until September 18, 2005. Reservations are required at least one day in advance.
The double-decker tour bus will meet Clipper’s arrival and whisk you away on the tour. Upon arriving back into Victoria in the afternoon, there will be time for shopping, tea, the Royal BC Museum or other Inner Harbour activities before boarding the Clipper for a 7:00 pm departure. Timing is perfect to enjoy the sunset over the Olympics en route back to Seattle.

Victoria Clipper Resumes San Juan Service and Orca Whale and Sea Life Search Program
Recommended by the Seattle Aquarium, the Clipper day excursion includes travel from downtown Seattle to the San Juans via scenic Deception Pass, a 2.5 hour Whale and Sea Life Search excursion and two hours of free time in Friday Harbor to shop or enjoy a late lunch before returning to Pier 69. Experience Gray Whale Migration with Mosquito Fleet
Each spring, close to twenty thousand gray whales will journey along Washington’s coast as they return from breeding grounds in Mexico to the feeding grounds off the coast of Alaska. A number of these whales stop here along the way to enjoy the ghost shrimp in our shallow waters before continuing their trip to the north.
Gray Whales can grow to be over 40 feet in length and weigh as much as 40 tons. These ‘ Gentle Giants’ are friendly and curious creatures often approaching the vessel to check out their audience. A professional naturalist onboard educates passengers about local wildlife and highlights areas with key maritime history. Light food items are available at the onboard snack bar and souvenir items can be found at our Everett Village Marina dock.

Clipper's Tulip Tours Begin April 1st
Tulips bloom in three different phases based on their type, typically coming up in April. Local growers are still unsure of when the first tulips will appear but predict the early blooming variety will be here sooner than expected. They are hopeful that the late blooming varieties may still be available for viewing at the end of the month long festival.
Flower enthusiasts who book this event for a Sat or Sun, will cruise on the Victoria Clipper III one way between Seattle’s Pier 69 and La Conner, and travel the opposite direction via deluxe motorcoach. On Fridays, travel is roundtrip on Clipper. Either way, everyone will enjoy a 2.5 hour narrated tour of the Tulip Fields with stops at two bulb farms, plenty of time in the quaint Town of La Conner for shopping and/or lunch and still be back to Seattle around dinner time.

Rail to Bellingham with Casino Stop
